window 7? window 10? i know that win7 has horrible file system that would occasionally make disk load be at 100%, although it could also be problem with the hard drive that is the problem, especially if it is a disk drive since those have more likelihood to fail in laptops as laptop tends to be moved around alot.

Disable Superfetch. It should fix your disk usage. There are how-tos all over the internet.
just erase the porn and i bet the problem will be solved
